| BIOS Upgrade for EC-0003D |
| * Silicon Image chipset does not support RAID function on Mac OS. |

| Please follow the steps as below to upgrade BIOS for EC-0003D eSATA II Adapter |
| (1).Download |
EC-0003D Basic BIOS or Raid BIOS |
from APIOTEK website. |

(2).Start Macbook Pro and make sure your are in Windows XP/2000
environment.
* Needs to install Boot Camp and Windows XP. |

| (3).Click right key of mouse on "My Computer" and select "Content". |
 |
| |
| (4).Push "Device Management" button. |
 |
| |
| (5).Select "SCSI and RAID Controller". |
 |
| |
(6).Select "Silicon Image SiI 3132 SoftRaid 5 Controller" and click right key of
mouse. Selcet "Content". |
 |

(7).Select "Flash BIOS" and browse the downloaded file( EC-0003D BIOS for
Mac ) in your notebook.
Push "Program Flash" button |

(8).Please notice the warning information. Do not "reset" or "power off" when
the BIOS upgrade. |

(9).After 5~10 seconds, the BIOS upgrade.
