‧How to uninstall the driver in Mac OSX
- 1. Disconnect all devices that connected to EC-ES03D
2. Reboot
3. Delete /System/Library/Extensions/SiliconImage3132.kext (If this file exist in the OS)
4. Delete /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache
5. Delete /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kernelcaches/*
6. Reboot
(If you would like to re-install the driver, please follow below steps.)
7. Login in as an administrator user
8. Re-download and install the Mac OSX driver.
‧OSX 10.5 Leopard Support
- Please download new Mac driver.
‧How to uninstall Mac driver
- To uninstall the SiI3132 universal Mac OS X Base driver, please follow steps below:
1. Go into the location /System/Library/Extensions folder. Delete "SiliconImage3132.kext".
2. Go into the location /Library/Receipts folder. Delete "Sil3132_1.X.Xu_Sil_Pkg.pkg".

‧Can I connect EC-ES03D/EC-0003D to another RAID 0/1/5 device?
- EC-ES03D/EC-0003D adopts Silicon Image chipset SiI3132, which supports RAID 0/1/softRAID5 on 2 eSATA devices. It doesn't support double connected. If users want to connect more device, please choose external RAID enclosure with Port Multiplier function chipset SiI3726. Please check the photo as below. All information please visit chipset provider "Silicon Image".

‧Should I Upgrade BIOS ?
- EC-ES03D/EC-0003D supports Mac OSX, Windows XP & Vista directly without upgrading BIOS. Upgrade BIOS is only for users wanting to RAID. No need to upgrade BIOS if you don't need RAID.
note: RAID FUNCTION is very dangerous. It might cause damage and lose all data if operating incorrectly.

3. Install driverfor your OS first (remove the EC-ES03D ; EC-0003D)
4. Follow the instruction to plug into EC-ES03D ; EC-0003D.
